Walk Together - the lyrics

(Sermon)

Let the beat run
The mouth and its components are kept online
With the mental capsule that deals with
Data manufacturing through available info
In the mental sound output is not questionable
But cats still battle, some rarely make sense but they still rattle
With provocative hand gestures, multi-repeated curse words
And bitten metaphors, premeditated thoughts
And those senseless preliminary sermons
They shock the mind of the P
The beat is like a train
And the different thoughts are like
The different individuals that board the train
And whom I'm I to complain but campaign
Against this hip hop abuse, they abuse it
Like it was substance abuse,
I choose to refuse; some cats are better off as fans.

Orphans

We all walk together
We all talk together
And one thing is true is that
We can't live together

Imagine a, highly possible improbable future
With a luxurious feature of treasure
And anything nicier, feasible signs of affluence,
You healthier, When 30years down memory lane,
You were hooked on, blasphemous profane
Acts and language believing it wasn't
For you to have a crib in park lane,
But subconsciously you elevated
Without the realisation of the awakening
Of a spiritually rich impolitic man
That once cursed God for a mans penury
Whilst serving three jail sentences concurrently
But the tables have turned
And onto the local frequency your brain has tuned
Once dead and useless but now exhumed
Walking amongst us with garments perfumed
Inaugurated as the King, coz it was inborn
That you inherit the throne, to the silver spoon fed
Decision was thought to be inflammatory

But here is the moral of the story
Whilst you were becoming materially rich
Your circle of influence lost its richness in spirit
And that's the equilibrium of life
The poor be getting pain from the rich, and vice versa
So it doesn't matter which is which coz life is always greater

Life is always greater

We all walk together
We all talk together
And one thing is true is that
We can't live together

Caught with no Alibi
500-pula alimony money
Given to a wife and five children to
Last 365days, Praises to the Buddha
Shopping for bandanas and Bermudas
Can leave 8-pula short for Kapenta in the next season
The courts must be crazy
They must have missed not to
Include this mother goose in the gods must be crazy
Pushing toy cars in the lobby
Mums' in the bedroom crying for more lolly
Leaving the supermarket with an empty trolley
It's the maladroit handling of the taxpayers money
To buy alkaloids, a basis of drugs to develop androids
We already have syboot, the digital android
So abort, your mission and increase
The alimony money, for the crying mummy
With a baby in the tummy
Coz then she's gonna call him Tommy
Or Toby coz now she's got the money
And she can afford to put polony
To the essential groceries in the trolley
I started with a sad story but in the end
We get victory and glory in a story
That is self-explainatory

We all walk together
We all talk together
And one thing is true is that
We can live together
